You’ll spend two unforgettable hours learning to ride the waves at Playa de Las Americas, Chejilipes in the Canary Islands, a volcanic rock beach whose waves are ideal for both beginners and advanced surfers; the session is open to anyone aged 13 and up and includes all necessary equipment-surfboard, neoprene, booties and lycra. You’ll start with a focused 20-minute theory briefing where we explain surfing basics and key techniques to help you catch your first waves, then head into the water where an experienced instructor will guide you step-by-step and you must follow their instructions. After riding the waves you’ll do guided stretches to prevent injury, return to the school to change and shower in the facilities, and review photos taken by our photographer to relive the experience. The energy after surfing is magical-Aloha mahalo.

Parking is limited near the school and public transport connections are available; if you booked hotel pick-up, confirm the exact meeting address and pick-up fee in advance.

- If only 2 people attend a group booking, a semi-private class can proceed with an extra charge of €20 per person.
- General conditions: notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. If the school cancels due to adverse weather or force majeure, you’ll be offered an alternative date or a full refund. The operator may modify this policy; check it before booking.

Photos and videos are not included in the base price - you can view the school photographer’s images after class. Hotel pickup is available for an extra fee (€10 per person each way within Las Americas, €20 outside Playa de Las Americas).
